How to Cook HANITH

There are many ways to cook in the desert, or any place where people camp. Different methods of  cooking require different equipment. However, some methods don't require a lot of equipment. That is want I like about HANITH method.

HANITH is a method or style to cook meat and rice. You can have whatever kind of meat you want, but I prefer lamb meat. In order to have the HANITH cooked well, you need an axe, Palm leaves, fire woods, rice, and meat.

First, you need to dig up a hole in the ground to start a fire on it. second, after the fire stops put the palm leaves on the coals. The palm leaves have to be wet and green so that it wouldn't burn. Next, put the meat on the leave, and cover the hole with a plate, then add sand on it. Here is some pictures of this steps.

After covering the hole, start another fire on it so that it get cooked both sides, and you can cook the rice on that fire. Use the only pot we need for this method to cook the rice on the tap fire. I think everybody know how to cook rice. Also, everybody like to cook it differently. However, here is a link to help those who don't know how to cook rice. Here is some pictures of this step.

What is the Perfect Picnic In Saudi Desert

Saudis are very social people, and they are so friendly. Therefore, they do many picnics when they socialize. However, these picnics are usually salty. By salty, I mean, the food and the activities they do.

To have the best picnic, you need the perfect picnic weather.  Not too warm, not too cold. Also, friends are an important part of the picnic. A lot of food would be served in Saudi style picnic. Most of that food would be salty. Also, there is no picnic in Saudi Arabia without dates and Arabic coffee. Usually Saudis do picnics is in the desert such as AL_DAHNA DESERT, and leave after diner. The ideal location for such a picnic is anywhere water has collected, which is why you’ll find rain-induced lakes in the desert surrounded by jeeps and trucks, with people huddled around a fire and children playing in the sand.

The diner usually is a sheep, which can be cooked in the picnic place or have it ordered form some restaurants. This food is really delicious besides it’s look pretty good.

Here are some picture of the perfect picnic in Saudi Arabia:
